Refund Policy

Shipping

We typically dispatch orders within 3-5 business days from the receipt of the order unless specified by us. You will receive an email once your order has been shipped. Once shipped, please allow approx. 5 to 7 business days for your order to arrive with standard shipping.

Currently Soapy Studio is a very small business, run just by me, Zainab. It takes a little while to process the orders and get everything shipped out but we are constantly working towards shipping out your orders at the earliest.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE MAY BE SOME DELAY IN TRANSIT TIMES WITH SHIPPING DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF SHIPMENTS AS A RESULT OF COVID19.

Shipping Rates:

We charge a flat rate of Rs. 85 for shipping. We also have a local pick up option available for those living in Pune. In this option, you could either come and pick up the soaps in person in Wanowrie, Pune or then we can arrange for a Dunzo which will be charged separately.

Returns & Refunds

Please note that due to the nature of our products, unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds or accept returns. We are unable to resell a product that has been outside our supervision hence all sales are final.

If you are unsatisfied with a product, please feel free to mail us at business.soapystudio@gmail.com with the problem you might be facing and we will try our best to resolve it.

Cancellations

If for any reason you would like to cancel your order, you must do so within 24hrs of placing the order. Please email us at business.soapystudio@gmail.com with your order number if you need any assistance on this.

Once shipped, we will not be able to cancel your order.

 

Appearance of the Soap

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches and cut by hand and therefore no two bars will be alike. Various uncontrolled factors affect how saponification takes place and hence soaps vary from batch to batch as do designs. You might also find certain imperfections like small pockets of air or a whitish powder on the top of the soap called Soda Ash. All these are superficial, and will in no way affect the quality of the bar of soap you are using. These are artisanal products so please allow for slight variations and imperfections, these make each bar unique. Soaps may also appear different from the photographs taken. We try our best to photograph all the physical qualities of the soap, however, there might be some minor differences in the product you receive in comparison to the photograph.

We at Soapy Studio are not medical professionals and do not claim that the use of our products may have any positive effect on pre-existing physical and/or mental health conditions. The main purpose of soap is to cleanse.

We strongly recommend doing a patch test before using our products. If you do experience any irritation, please discontinue use.
